About Me

Hello, my name is Anthony Peluso and I'm a graphic designer from SUNY Cobleskill. I specialize in coding websites and designing logos. I've worked with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I've also worked with design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD, and Dimension. I originally worked towards a Computer Science major but switched over to a Graphic Design major. At the time, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do after college, but one of the professors within the Graphic Design program suggested that I should give this major a try. Ever since then, I've enjoyed working within the program. I'm very grateful to have learned so much in the field of Graphic Design!

For my final project for my Web Design 3 class, we were tasked with creating our own website that showcases our web and graphic design skills. That site is currently what you're looking at right now! This site contains information regarding me, as well as some of my best works.

Sprite Animation

During my Web Animation class, we learned how to create sprite animations using JavaScript. My submission involved a stick figure running across a sheet of paper.

jQuery Website

Web Design 3 introduced me to many new techniques when coding. For this assignment, we developed a single-page website that sells sneakers. The site includes drop down menus and the ability to add multiple items to your shopping cart. We then changed the code to center around a brand that we created.

Frontispiece

For my Advanced Typography class, each student was required to read an assigned chapter in the novel “Driving While Black: African American Travel and the Road to Civil Rights” by Gretchen Sorin and create a piece centered around our chapter.

2022 Senior Show

During my senior year, I worked on my senior project for the Graphic Design Senior Show. We created our own brand to advertise, along with logos, advertisements and brand statements to get a better understanding of being a graphic designer. I developed an electronic waste disposal company called Reviver.

Syntax Project

This project involved creating a typographic piece of work using both type and photographs involving a past event of our choosing. For my project, I chose to create a piece about the tragic death of Dale Earnhardt.

Groovy Chocolate

For my final project in my Digital Prepress class, I created a brand of chocolate bar. This involved creating a company name, logo, and package design for the product.

Web Design 1 Final Website

The final project for my Web Design 1 class was a personal website about me. While my web designing skills have improved over time, I created this site early on when I was still inexperienced.

Web Design 2 Final Website

My final project for Web Design 2 was like my previous final project for Web 1, but I utilized techniques that I learned during my experience in Web 2 to create a new website that was an improvement over the original.
